Wilier Triestina
Founded in 1906, Wilier is an Italian bicycle brand with over a century of history, recognized as a pioneer in the cycling industry. Not only was Wilier one of the first to introduce fully internal cable routing in lightweight bikes in Italy, but it was also the first Italian brand to pass the industry-leading German EFBE safety and quality certification tests.
Located in Rossano Veneto, Italy, Wilier operates a 10,000 square meter factory that produces approximately 32,000 bicycles annually. With a foundation in classic design and a keen eye on modern trends, Wilier offers a wide range of high-quality bicycles blending traditional and avant-garde styles. Their product line is comprehensive, including road bikes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes, triathlon time trial bikes, e-bikes, and accessories, catering to both entry-level riders and professional competitors.
Wilier has also sponsored Tour de France teams for nearly half a century. In recent years, it has sponsored the UCI WorldTeam Astana Qazaqstan Team from Kazakhstan, where "Manx Missile" Mark Cavendish made history in the 2024 Tour de France by claiming his record-breaking 35th stage win, surpassing the legendary Eddy Merckx’s long-held record to become the cyclist with the most stage wins in Tour de France history.
In December 2023, Wilier Triestina also began sponsoring the French Équipe cycliste Groupama–FDJ team. Riding Wilier’s flagship models, the Filante SLR and Verticale SLR, the team achieved a commendable fifth place in the overall team ranking in the 2024 La Vuelta.
